Retrieve your file into WP5.1.  Then use "Text In/Out" (CTRL/F5) to save
the file in WP5.0 format.   Then the convert program you already have
should be able to handle it.  You will have to do this for each file, since
WP's CONVERT.EXE doesn't do this conversion.  You could probably write a
macro to do the recursion...

Personally, I run WP5.1 under Windows and like it just fine.
