I use Designer to export *.drw files as *.eps files. Along with each *.eps file is created a *.ps and *.tif files. Designer also has an option to export *.eps files 'without' tif preview. I have installed epsimp.flt for Winword. I can insert an *.eps file and see it, stretch it, ..., as long as the *.ps and *.tif files are present. Winword does not draw postscript but can display tiff images. Is this correct? I can't cut and paste the actual line from winword, but an inserted picture pic1.eps has direct references to pic1.ps and pic1.tif in the text representing the field. As a side note: It appears that winword "caches" picture information or something. At times, when I delete the line containing the reference to an inserted picture, and then I re-insert a picture (modified) with the same name, I get a "file in use or busy or something" error. If I close the file and reopen it, I can then re-insert the picture?? Along the same lines, while I am at it, if I create a new picture and overwrite a picture, then when I open a *.doc file which references the picture, it is not updated (similar scenario to the above paragraph). In fact, it seems that the picture ends up loosing some lines in it. !!!!!!!!@#@# (I still think wfw is great!)
