A thousand words is about 5K or 6K bytes. So, since the images I posted totaled roughly 6KB, I didn't really waste any extra net cost. :-) ---------------------------- People have suggested that better ways of making images available are: - post to comp.sources.x - post to alt.pictures - announce, and make available via ftp. Each of these has its problems for certain people; no clear cut answer. In any case, I agree that it's important that we discourage people from posting *huge* images to comp.windows.x. (Personally, however, my definition of huge is 100K Bytes, not 5 or 10 K Bytes.) Roger
