I am unable to get xfig (v2.0, pl. 9) to work properly with OpenWindows.
Xfig generally (but not always) starts up fine , but then dies in short
order with a message like

X Error:  BadMatch
  Request Major code 62 ()
  Request Minor code 0
  ResourceID 0xa002ec
  Error Serial #2212
  Current Serial #2214

This usually (but not always) happens when one tries to change the
font.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
