   I have a problem:I wish to draw pictures in an Xwindows environment (HP's
and Sun's, in color). More specificly bitmapped(not vector thingies and the like). This means Yes to gif/pixmaps/colour bitmaps etc, and No to I-draw,psfig,
newxfig etc. Does there exist any (preferably) public domain stuff in the
spirit of Deluxepaint for the Amiga, that edits gifs or something else in more
that two colours at a time ? Reply by E-mail or post or whatever you like,
