Keywords: WM_SAVE_YOURSELF, XSendEvent() Message-ID: <724@rocksanne.WRC.XEROX.COM> Date: 14 Feb 91 17:46:10 GMT Sender: news@WRC.XEROX.COM Reply-To: stein@WRC.XEROX.COM (Adam Stein) Organization: Imaging Science Engineering & Technology, Xerox Corporation Lines: 14 I am trying to send a WM_SAVE_YOURSELF atom to a window by sending a ClientMessage using XSendEvent(). I am obviously doing it wrong since the window doesn't save it's current state into WM_COMMAND. I would appreciate it if somebody could give me an example on how to fill out the ClientMessage structure correctly or tell me if there is a better function to use than XSendEvent(). Thanx in advance.
