I'm just commencing a PhD in Computer Science and I'm interested in
setting up a computer system which can recognise sign language. If
anyone knows of any research in this area could they please let me
know.

Also I'm trying to get in touch with Jim Kramer of Stanford who I
believe was working in this area, but I don't have his email
address. Again any help would be much appreciated.
