I have a problem with cnews (15-Dec-1990) where it doesn't execute 
(in this case) a mail command to send articles to people off the system. 
It works on my AT&T 3B15 (older level) but not on the SPARC.

I've been trying to figure out what's wrong and realize that I have
nntplink (2.0.3) up and running with the patch to cnews providing the 'l' flag.
I *almost* remember there being a problem along the lines of what I'm
having. Does this ring any bells with anyone?

The problem sys lines look like:

david:ba.general/all::mail david

I'd prefer email responses if at all possible.
