Message-ID: <1991Feb15.034215.13334@csn.org> Date: 15 Feb 91 03:42:15 GMT Sender: news@csn.org (news) Organization: University of Colorado, Boulder Lines: 19 Originator: roybalm@tramp.Colorado.EDU Nntp-Posting-Host: tramp.colorado.edu I have a problem here, which I hope you guys can help me with. I need three things: 1) a 7segment displays(3 or 4)/decoder/driver - this driver needs to have an 8bit(for a number up to 256, hence the 3 displays) input. driver needs to convert these 8 bits into the corresponding digits(up to 3) and output them on the displays. The driver can be a multiplexer, or an equivalent. 2) a programmable countdown/timer(must be programmable with 8 bits). 3) a countup/timer with 8 bit output(to drive the multiplexer or equivalent above.) Thank you, any information(sources, chips, etc.) would be grateful. Michael Roybal Internet: roybalm@tramp.colorado.edu
