Could You give references for a homebuilt CCD-camera?
I would prefer one of little complexity, easy obtainable components,
low cost, and instructions understandable when you're not a pro.
I plan to connect to a computer (Amiga) and no fancy stuff in between.
It should be capable of >1 sec exposures.
