I am interested in knowing more about a new rifle designed by Indian scientists under the Indian small arms program for the India n army and possible export. All I know is that it is of 5.56mm calibre, uses lightweight materials in its construction, and fires in bursts of 5 rounds in auto. A lighter paratroop/commando version with folding stock is said to exist. I would appreciate any info you could post about this.
