I will make a patch but my home directory was wiped out and I am still waiting for it being restored. In the mean time, there is one bug that keeps Python from compiling: the file patchlevel.h contains illegal C syntax. To fix this, replace its content by #define PATCHLEVEL 1 When we are back up, I will also distribute STDWIN and make everything available by ftp. Is there enough demand to post the Postscript of the manual (for those pooor souls who still don't have latex)? --Guido
