Areas of emphasis are knowledge-based systems, intelligent tutoring systems, cognitive psychology, decision sciences and advanced information retrieval applied to informatics problems in either clinical medicine or basic biomedical sciences. Responsiblities will include primarily research as well as training activities at the graduate and professional level. Candidates should possess a PhD and/or MD or equivalent training with emphasis in one or more of the above areas. Highly interdisciplinary research with participation by computer and information science, cognitive science, cognitive engineering, medical and/or basic science specialists is possible.
