An incoming FTP session may issue a CD causing bootpd to lose track of the bootptab file. 2. The maximum UN*X issued file name was set at 25 causing problems at many different sites. The new maximum is 256. If you have had problems with files being received but nothing printed, please try this new version and let me know if you still have problems. Serial port support: No one has ever repaired the COM support in LPD, however, one user wrote to me about a program available at wsmr-simtel20.army.mil that allows LPT1: (and maybe others) to be redirected to COM ports. It also adds XON/XOFF support. The file is PD1:lptcom02.arc (spelling may not be correct). LPD 1.5 is available only in executable form on tacky as LPD15.exe in the pub/lpd directory. Also, if you need the updated Clarkson files to compile the LPD source, they are located in the same directory in the file cumods.tar.Z. dave Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
