The program is a rewrite of gyro2slice by Henry Rusinek of the nyumc radiology department to output directly in sgi/ipaste format instead of qsh pixel format. Please report problems to me concerning this version of Henry's program. Try this neat trick: Convert a stack of mri slices to sgi ipaste format, and then rip through the slices as an animated movie loop with the utility movie. I have found that the sgi utility ansitape seems to corrupt vms binary data files, so I have to import data via ftp. This program will also work with the 4ddn vms data import/export utilities but I have not tested it.
