It appears that I have to go straight to the hardware. To this end I am trying to find an explanation of how normal BIOS works. I am looking for commented BIOS listings to further this end. I am aware of the AT technical reference manual but do not want to spend this much money ($120 I believe). I am not looking for descriptions of how to use BIOS calls.
