Message-ID: Date: 21 Feb 91 01:34:50 GMT Sender: news@bu.edu.bu.edu Organization: Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ Lines: 20 Approved: Telecom@eecs.nwu.edu X-Submissions-To: telecom@eecs.nwu.edu X-Administrivia-To: telecom-request@eecs.nwu.edu X-Telecom-Digest: Volume 11, Issue 141, Message 3 of 12 I have already had success with the EMail service. The last I had heard from a friend currently stationed in eastern Saudi Arabia, the first letter sent a week before the war began took 20 days. Now, things are getting to him in under a week. One item worth mentioning: someone posted the address information slightly differently than the way I'm aware and have been following. The line "LOCAL FORCES" I'm told should go on the FIRST line (before the Name, rank SSN), and not the last. This is an issue which should be solved, as if incorrect addressing format is used, the message gets zapped with the originator never being notified.
