R&D, Schenectady, NY Lines: 16 I have a question. What I want to do is to start emacs processes as subprocesses of one X application. How can I let emacs be iconified from the parent process? I also want to tell emacs to be raised when it is covered by other windows. How can the parent application tell a window manager to do so? First of all, can I? If not, how about emacs 18.55 so called an "Epoch" which I hear supports X Window System and I have not tried yet? I am using either twm or mwm.
