Sci., Urbana, IL Lines: 15 Gnuemacs can display the prompt in inverse video. However it does not seem to make available a function "inverse-video start end buffer". Is there a way to get i-v using the termcap information that emacs must already have read in? I would like to avoid going to the trouble of reading and analysing termcap myself.
