Message-ID: <9102151827.AA27290@warsaw.nlm.nih.gov> Date: 15 Feb 91 18:27:31 GMT Sender: daemon@tut.cis.ohio-state.edu Reply-To: warsaw@ncbi.nlm.nih.gov Followup-To: gnu.emacs.help Organization: Gatewayed from the GNU Project mailing list help-gnu-emacs@prep.ai.mit.edu Lines: 26 I've noticed a change in the way emacs interacts with R4 twm. In particular, when getting and giving up focus, the block cursor will not always change color correctly. Occasionally, while emacs will get the focus properly, the cursor will remain "transparent". This happens both when putting focus in emacs by moving the mouse, or by using various keyboard triggered f. commands. In any case, doing an f.raiselower makes the cursor the correct color. I know that 18.55 used to work just fine, but something has changed with 18.57 (I'm still using the same server and twm). I can't say for sure that its a bug with emacs which is why I'm posting here first. I haven't had time to track this down in more detail but when I do, and if I find that it is an emacs bug, I'll post something to bug-gnu-emacs. Until then, if anybody has any suggestions or if anybody else has noticed this new behavior, please email.
