I have two very specific needs which are unrelated. I want to: 1. draw an arrow (or an arrowed line) between any two points 2. display a tree of parent-children-subchildren-..... relationship Are there ready made functions for these in X/DecWindows (I am not sure)? Or alternately, can anyone provide the code (or a method) for these? Specifically for drawing trees, I am looking for code which does the following: Given a tree specification in the form of parent-children-subchildren, etc. the code should be able to compute the relative positions of these in x-y co-ordinate system. Note that a tree may contain several subtrees of any depth. I am sure these things are readily available in some commercial packages. My needs are academic, so I would appreciate any help.
