Keywords: question Message-ID: <25292@netcom.COM> Date: 23 Feb 91 07:19:05 GMT Organization: Netcom - Online Communication Services UNIX System {408 241-9760 guest} Lines: 12 I have an application for which an error diffusion type dither isn't appropriate, but an ordered dither would be perfect. However, I can't see how to do an ordered dither with an arbitrary palette, only with a uniform one which wouldn't work in my case. Is it possible? allan p.s. Actually I can see one method, but it would require eight (at least) inverse palettes, which would take too much memory. -- Allan N.
