Rogers in Computer-Aided Design. It is fast enough that a 4th order 40x40 grid surface with 100 steps in both parametric directions was generated in <.5 sec. on an RS/6000 model 530. On a 25Mhz 386 in protected mode, it took <10 sec. Good code and ideas to speed it up. And this was not a result of the fastest algorithm there - I am limited by space.
