I don't know. A lot of the strings discussions happened before I joined the committee. Since then, there has been some amount of discussion about various string words, mostly inspired by George Shaw. Unfortunately, in this area, a clear consensus never seems to emerge. Most votes related to string words tend to be fairly evenly split.
