Looks like "Configure" now determines (correctly) that I'm a MIPS using the BSD environment. However, there are quite a few problems. It scans the SYSV libc.a to find symbols, so things like bcopy aren't found. I beat on it for a few hours, but didn't get a successful build out of it. I don't have time to work on it anymore right now, so I'll have to send you the changes after the beta period is over. -- Randall S.
