Message-ID: <1991Feb26.162332.17985@newsserver.sfu.ca> Date: 26 Feb 91 16:23:32 GMT Distribution: na Organization: Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, B.C., Canada Lines: 17 We are a small startup company who are developing a high end synthesizer. Currently, our design calls for roughly 150 small- and medium-scale TTL chips, as well as a handful of large-scale chips (specificly 16x16 Multiply Accumulators). We are interested in condensing our boards into a few (maybe 3 or 4) VLSI chips, each having an equivelant complexity of roughly 50 MSI TTL chips. Is this feasible for a small company? What would be our minimum order? How much would design and production cost us? Any info would be greatly appreciated. -- Steve "Skillman" Hillman "Everyone generalizes" hillman@whistler.sfu.ca skillman@tz.wimsey.bc.ca Brought to you by Super Global Mega Corp .com
