Any answers or comments, please mail them to him directly. His email address is below. Thanks for your cooperation. --- Start of original message --- At SURFnet we want to set up a database (sort of archive) for E-mail. In there E-mail messages will have to be stored by addresses, subject and SURFnet-archive number. The archive should be closed to the outside world and open to all SURFnet personell. It is the electronic version of our paper archive I'm looking for. If I sent out/receive post now, it is (if important enough) registered in a book and gets a SURFnet-archive number. It is then stored in the archive somewhere. The archive number is the index by which you can look up the post. As I imagine that companies will want to implement such a thing also (now or in the near future). I was wondering if anybody knows about any program that does such things, or may be usefull in achieving them. Any suggestion is welcome, Erik Huizer SURFnet BV The Netherlands Email: huizer@surfnet.nl --- End of original message --- -- Erik-Jan Bos, SURFnet, the Netherlands Email: bos@surfnet.nl
