I am doing a little bit in OS-9 and MINIX. Because I am thinking of buying me a 386 machine, I want to know what is required to use MACH. Do I need another operatingsystem to compile the kernel? How do I get a complete system? I think a kernel is NOT a very complete OS. Do I have to compile all commands and utilities from another OS (e.g. MINIX)? Please could someone help me with this. I think there are more people like me with the same question.
