I really don't like my entire system to crash just because of one process going wild. I don't see why this is not possible, we might want to make it an option though. It would help reduce the number of times the entire system needs to be brought back to life. I have not checked the QUIT menu option, but it would be nice if it could do a SYNC then quit.
