I built kernel, mm, and fs sucessfully. I then went to /usr/src/tools and built bootblok, build, init, and menu. I ran build(8) to create a boot diskette on /dev/at0. It printed out info as it wrote each part to the disk. Seemed fine 'til here. The last message it printed out was "build: mm click_shift does not match kernel's." What is this error indicative of? I tried out the boot diskette and it starts Minix fine, although I can't get past the menu without an MM panic. If I fix the build problem, should this fix the MM panic? I tried selecting a RAM disk size that was the same as I used in V1.3. (117K). Any pointers on how to set things up from here (where to put root FS, etc.) would be helpful. I want to free up as much lo memory as possible, so I can compile the big commands easily. Eventually, I will install shoelace, too.
