Lines: 14 I'm interested in either un-tar programs for the IBM PC which are capable of dealing with long filenames in a reasonable fashion, or in some kind of DOS add-on which allows one to manipulate files with long names. From my University days, I have some files I'd like to put on a PC, and I'd rather not go through 2000 files and hand-edit them into a format DOS can deal with. Has anyone heard of a solution to this sort of problem? Does OS/2 let you deal with long file names? I use MSDOS version 4
