Here are some informations : * the BJ-10e printer can emulate IBM Proprinter X(L)24(E) as well as canon bj130. The X24 mode allows you to use it with most softwares. * In X24 mode, do *NOT* expect to have a better resolution than a good 24 pins printer. The only difference is that buble jet makes "real" black, and not grey characters. So, the result looks better. * The BJ10e can have a 360*36Odpi resolution, and supports 48 dots fonts dowloading. The quality would then be a laser quality. the "only" problem is the lack of drivers (at least in France) * Anyway, even in this mode, you won't be able to download big fonts (72 dots for ex.). * in my opinion, the bj10e should not be considered as a "cheap laser" but should be compare with other 24pins printers : it is not more expensive, and it makes nearly no noise, wich is a LOT more confortable. * notice that the ink cartridge are quite expensive, and that the "auto sheet feeder" is also very expensive for a litle plastic stuff.. (but it is also very usefull) I hope this helps... If anyone has a BJ10 driver for VENTURA (xerox), please let me know... (by E-mail) Best regards Daniel Braun
