Keywords: Keyboard, defunct, temp clean Message-ID: <1991Feb22.122614.11001@cns.umist.ac.uk> Date: 22 Feb 91 12:26:14 GMT Sender: news@cns.umist.ac.uk (Usenet news) Organization: Department of Computer Science, University of Manchester UK Lines: 19 To clean - unscrew back of keyboard, remove it ! unscrew all those small screws from pcb , and wipe the surface with those silvery (now grey) pads. (Oh look at all that corrosion !) Reassemble Any bits left over - well you forgot something ! PS the old keyboard was more reliable in the lack of cleaning - I used it for 2 years without doing so. I try to keep the current one free of junk, but it still needs cleaning ! +--------------------------------+-----------------------------------------+ | ()()TEVEN () | | | () ()() | | | ()() () ()AN () () | | | () ()() ()()()() +-----------------------------------------+ | ()() () () ()ARDT |JANET E-mail : vanaards@uk.ac.man.cs.p4 | +--------------------------------+-----------------------------------------+
