It is quite small, and pretty damn cheap--$299 list. Sounds pretty tempting, since it's SCSI, after all... However, I've heard that the drive itself gets power from the Mac via the SCSI connection. Is this true? If so, will it even work on my machine if I get a 50-pin to DB-25 SCSI adapter cable? Maybe with a little fiddling? :-) Oh---I have a A3000-25 with a 50Mb already on board. Anyone who's tried using this thing? My dad owns one for his Mac, but since he already has some important stuff on it, he won't let me touch it. :-) Pat ////------------------------------------------------------------ (Spam?)////lipo@macc.wisc.edu "The C.I.A. uses the information they ////lipo@wiscmac3.BitNet get from the Census to kill innocent \\\\ ////MACC Communications Facility Salvadoran women and children." \\\X///University of Wisconsin, Madison --_The_Onion_ reader poll \XXX/-----------------------------------------------------------------
