I've been having strange problems with the ORCA/Shell which cause it to get an
"Invalid Reference Number" error while loading the command table. I'd like to
use it as my startup application, but it will force me to reboot when I do.
This is a really annoying bug. I've spoken to Mike about it, and he said it
was my hard drive. It's not, my h/d is fine. The strange thing is this bug
only occurs if ORCA.SYS16 is the first ProDOS 16 application to run. Executing
another P16 (not GS/OS aware) program will somehow fix the problem. So I have
to launch APW.SYS16, quit, then launch ORCA.SYS16. It's a pain.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? How can I fix it?
