Without going into details, the user sent in several requests (for the same files) over a period of several days, because he never received any response. The problem was on the server system, which had a bad disk. It did, however, queue up his requests. When the system came back up it sent all of the requests at once with the header reformatted in such a way that the Michigan server did not recognize the requests as coming from the same individual. It seems kind of harsh to shut off all access because of this. It has been running fine until now and barring another accident will probably continue to run fine. Why can't it just be reinstated?
