The snag ++ is that I would like to use it on my 1040 STE. Would it be possible to ++ use this disk with my Atari by just purchasing a SCSI controller ++ (and power supply of course) ? Unless Atari changed the DMA specs on the STE, you'll need a DMS-SCSI adaptor (I recommend ICD), a SCSI controller card appropriate for your HD (MFM or RLL) a PSU and the relevant cables. Driver/formatting/utility s/w comes with the host adaptor.
