Which libXt are you using (/usr/lib/libXt.a, or /usr/lib/libXtR2.a), and which widget library are you using? My initial guess would be that you're using either an R3 widget set (e.g. libXm.a) with an R2 tookit (i.e. libXtR2.a), or an R4 widget set (i.e. something you compiled) with an R3 toolkit (i.e. libXt.a).
