The subject line says it all.  Hp-ux is lame in some code, and I don't
feel like delving into yet another ugly project only to find that it'll
never work, so I'll ask.  fcntl (F_SETOWN) is the problem.

System: 9000/400s hp-ux 7.03B

Before you ask, running SLIP instead would be fine, but the package on
hpcvaaz _breaks_ some RPC stuff, which is unacceptable.
