The "HP-UX Installing Peripherals" manual, has on page 2-2 a box saying that the 98568a is supported for the 350. Nowhere in the manual (or the 98568a documentation) does it say that "option 132" is needed. I am caught in a bind. In order to get more expansion I need to: - ditch 1 dio2 card, get the (unsupported) 98242b kit. or - get a completly new 98568a with option 132 --- $2500, plus I ditch the 98568a i have. or - getting a 98570a (another expansion box?) for $XXXX , and ditching the 98568a. No good solutoin, given that my advisor just had 2 of his 3 grants cancelled (courtesy of "Saddam vs Bush"). Any other alternatives? Is there a market for used//discarded equipment inside HP that I could tap into? Thanks a ton..... /Luis Luis Miguel.
