   Dear All,
           Just forwarding a question I was asked recently. I was unable to
answer it.

   Has anyone increased the size of their memory, if so could they give some
advice, the machine is a (LASER 286 PC) current which has 640k which about 540k
is usable and  he has problems already.
   There are SIMM and DIP sockets, 256k or 1M SIMMs can be used, which is the
best?
