Haar CS50) Followup-To: comp.periphs.printers Lines: 27 I have a Panasonic KXP-1124 that I would like to load with a customized font set. Can anyone recommend a font editing utility and download procedure. The 1124 is a 24 pin dot matrix printer that I use in Epson compatibility mode. I have installed the memory upgrade, so there is RAM available for font storage. I want to modify one of the built-in fonts to include some extra characters (Old English, as in Beowulf, not a fancy version of the modern alphabet). I normally run on an AT&T 3b1 - Sys. V UNIX, but also have an PC-XT clone, so I can use either UNIX or MS-DOS software. I would prefer a public domain software package that is available in source so that I can modify if necessary, but shareware or commercial software is acceptable. If you have a suggestion of a package that is archived somewhere on the net, please include the node name. thanks in advance. Bob Haar InterNet : rhaar@albert.cs.gmr.com Computer Science Dept., G.M.
