gcc 2.0 will run on the RT, and will probably be better than hc.  It
might be released this year, or it might not be.  rms isn't saying.

I've had a half-completed port of gdb version 3 to the RT for over a
year, but the work needed to finish it keeps getting put off (I've
learned to like adb).  The major bug is that it is unable to trace the
stack past more than one call.  Anyone who wants to try to debug this
should send me mail.
