This is a first attempt at a post, so please bear with me.

I am looking into purchasing a Radio Shack 1400 FD portable computer.  
Does anyone out there in net land have any opinions or comments on this
system?  I would also like know if anyone knows of other vendors for 
periperals (modem, harddisc ,etc.).
