Does Toshiba (or anyone else) > make such a set-up?? > This is the second request for this in a week, so here's some details on what looks to be at least one alternative. This is from an ad in the February issue of "Portable Office" for a company called Liberty Systems. They claim to have both 52 and 105 meg hard disks, 17ms access time, in self-contained enclosures of 2"x5"x7", that weigh under 3lbs and with a 60G shock rating. They plug into the parallel port on the Toshiba and into a wall socket for power. Cost for the 52M disk is $900, for the 105M disk is $1,200. I have not contacted these folks and have no experience with their products, but this is one of the few adds I've seen with what looks to be a workable solution for the T1000SE. The phone number to contact Liberty Systems is (408) 983-1127. They are located in Santa Clara, CA.
