I'm going to call later today, after phone rates drop. Another possible use: put command.com out there. Doing so would/will speed up i/o-thruput, as calls to command.com routines won't have to go to the hard drive. I know this is possible, 'cuz I read something somewhere about doing so, once upon a time. Just don't remember where. Putting Command.Com into a ram disk can be accomplished via a set of statements in either a Config.Sys file or Autoexec.Bat. Maybe both. Does anyone out there know what those statments should be?
