Message-ID: Date: 22 Feb 91 21:13:11 GMT Sender: news@herald.usask.ca (USENET News System) Distribution: comp Organization: University of Saskatchewan Lines: 27 Nntp-Posting-Host: dvinci.usask.ca Hello all: I have a number of copies of Claris' MacWrite II (version 1.0Bv2). With it I can import/export to a few formats such as Word 3.0, MacWrite, WriteNow, and Works. However, judging from advertisements and reviews, I should be able to go between other formats, most notably WordPerfect (DOS), and Word 4. I obtained a number of files from a local dealer which (as I understand) are Translator files, but I am unable to use them. Nothing in any manuals I have say anything about adding additional translators. I've tried putting these files in various places (the MacWrite application folder, the System Folder, the System Folder:Claris folder, the System Folder:Claris:Claris Translators folder, ...) with no luck. I even tried pasting resources from these files into a copy of the MacWrite application. I've about run out of ideas. So, can anyone shed any light on this? Any help would be appreciated.
