Edit II doesn't like filename that includes ";" in it. On a related note, my impression on Edit II is that Edit II is a RAM-based text editor. While I love the simplicity of Edit II, I need a disk-based text editor in order to deal with some of the very large text files. Of course, I can use Word 4.0, but I'd rather not deal with word processors in this case. So my question is, are there any disk-based text editor that resembles Edit II? I want it to be applications (so McSink is out) and I want it to be freeware/shareware (so Qued/M is out). Chang -- Chang P. Woo Chang.P.Woo@dartmouth.EDU (preferred) changwoo@eleazar.dartmouth.EDU
