Message-ID: <1991Feb26.200313.1340@daffy.cs.wisc.edu> Date: 26 Feb 91 20:03:13 GMT Sender: jongminp@cae.wisc.edu Organization: U of Wisconsin Lines: 12 Originator: jongmin@rt11.cs.wisc.edu I'm sure this has been discussed before so please forgive me if I missed it, but is it possible to connect two Macs thru the printer port and transfer files, etc.? I have a Imagewriter II printer cable that I can connect to the other computer. Would there be any problems with signal conflicts (do I need any special cable)? Can I use the cable for modem port connections too? Any software for transferring files (is MacKermit sufficient) fast thru printer port up to the maximum rate, not just 57200 baud?
