Yes, and I do believe it's 5th level. I was also confused by this with my cleric/fighter - but the max levels *are* in the manual. "human sixth level cleric. He has 65894 experience points which is greater than the 55,001 that is required to be a seventh level cleric." There is also a limit to how much training you can get in POR. Phlan's still a bit of a backwater, you see... These extra points can be used to advance further in Curse of the Azure Bonds, however. Note that if you can advance 2 levels at once, both programs advance you one level, but cut your XP's to (number needed for next level -1). So you have to go kill a kobold or something to get that next level. :( Note: To beat the POR scenario really only requires characters of the max level you're allowed.
